Your credit report contains a boat load of personal information about you. It has your name, address, birthdate, ssn, place of employment, employment history, and your spouse's name.
It shows if you own a house or rent, and where you lived before. It lists your various credit accounts with creditors, not to mention the amount of credit given to you. It even tells if you paid the accounts on time or if the account went into collections. Even worse,if a suit was placed on you by an attorney.
Your credit report also contains inquirys from merchants, landlords,or employers. Evictions, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and liens also make their way into your report.
Your credit report is a very vital document, because of the scope and amount of detail information it contains about you and your life. That is why the credit score you get from all this information is so important, because it can affect the rest of your life. It can mess up your abilty to get the financing when you need it most, especially for that new car,or big home, insurance policy,or even that dream job.
I have given you a lot of things to think about when it comes to what's in your credit report. Some of this information will work better for one person than another, but it still all depends on you and your unique situation.
